How to wear Mascara

To apply mascara correctly moves the wand right to left on your lashes. Place it as close to the lash root as possible. It is the color on the roots that gives your eyes the look of long lashes.  Wiggle the wand as you apply mascara to get the lashes to separate.  During your last pass through your lashes apply the color to your tips. If your mascara clumps Do you dread using Mascara because you always look like you have been in a bar fight at the end of the day. Fear not we all have times when we get that raccoon look when we were going for the mysterious sexy look of long lashes.
Because you  if have thin lashes that it is hard to separate then use a lash comb. It is easier to separate your lashes with a comb then with the brush on the want.
Consider using two mascaras. Apply a lengthening mascara and
Remove the excess. Do your other makeup and’ let it dry. The apply a o thickening water proof mascara over the top.  If you are bold experiment with a bright colored mascara ;on the first layer like blue or purple. Purple undertones really bring out brown eyes. Blue eyes pop with blue undertones.  I would not suggest colored mascara as stand alone mascara if you are going for a natural look. For every day browns work for blondes and everyone else except the very fair can use standard black mascara.
To get more curl warm up your eye lash curler with your blow dryer. Make sure it is warm not hot. Do not press your lashes into the lash curler as you may cause lashes to fall out. Some women like to curl after they apply mascara and it dries. This is fine if you can do it with out the mascara flaking.
Most women are fine just applying mascara to their upper lashes. Lower lash applications of mascara lead to those dread raccoon eyes. If you have eyes that are set too close together you will want to apply mascara to your lower lashes because it will give you eyes a wider appearance.
Older women look better with somewhat understated eye makeup. Heavy eye makeup tends to harden the face and draws attention to sagging under the eyes and crows feet. Applying just a enough mascara for color is many times a more practical approach then applying layers of the stuff.
